Prabhas to Begin Shooting for Salaar Part 2 in August

After the massive success of “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” fans have been eagerly awaiting the sequel. It has now been revealed that Prabhas, currently basking in the success of “Kalki 2898 AD,” will begin shooting for Prashanth Neel’s directorial sequel in August this year.

Prabhas is set to kickstart the shoot for “Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam” on August 10 at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film will be shot over eight months and is scheduled to hit theatres in 2025. “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire” was a tremendous success, grossing over Rs 700 crore at the box office, raising expectations for the sequel even higher.

Director Prashanth Neel, known for his meticulous planning and execution, is set to juggle two major projects in the coming years. Besides “Salaar Part 2,” he is also committed to shooting “Dragon” with NTR Jr. in 2024 and 2025. According to an insider, Neel has already met with both producers and assured them that he will adhere to the pre-decided timelines. He has devised a schedule that allows for a smooth production process for both films, confidently balancing the demands of working with two of the top stars in the industry.
