NEW DELHI, 23rd October, 2025: As the nation prepares for the highly anticipated Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025), Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today, in a video message, reiterated that India now stands on the world stage not as a follower, but as a confident leader, resolute in shaping the future of global science and innovation.
“As the ESTIC 2025, the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave approaches closer, India today stands not as a follower, but as a leader, confident in its capabilities, assertive in its vision, and resolute in shaping the future of science and innovation across the globe,” asserted Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, “This flagship science and technology conclave is not just a gathering, but it is indeed a declaration of India’s command over knowledge and ideas and India’s ability to transform vision into global influence.”
Dr. Singh emphasized that the conclave represents a significant milestone in India’s scientific trajectory, calling it a powerful declaration of the nation’s command over knowledge and its proven ability to transform a visionary blueprint into tangible global influence.
“Guided by the foresight of honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India’s scientific and technological journey has evolved into a force that inspires the world,” Dr. Singh attributed this national ascent to the astute leadership of India.
Outlining the conclave’s unique value, the Minister explained that “ESTIC 2025 is expected to unite Nobel Laureates, Industry leaders, Young innovators, Women entrepreneurs and Emerging science leaders,” describing this assembly as a powerful “convergence of brilliance ready to define the next frontiers of science and technological innovation.”
The Minister affirmed that the innovation showcased at the event will collectively reaffirm India’s position at the helm of global science.
Positioning ESTIC 2025 as a pivotal moment for national development, Dr. Singh declared, “ESTIC 2025 is the spark that ignites ambition, the arena where intellect meets enterprise, and where the future of Viksit Bharat 2047 begins to take shape.”
He concluded with a powerful call to action, urging the nation to harness this historic moment with vision, courage, and determination.
“Let us show the world that India lives not only in ideas, but also in the power to realize them,” he added.
The Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025) is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 5, 2024, at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The flagship event is designed to be a comprehensive platform fostering collaboration across the entire spectrum of the science and technology ecosystem, bringing together global thought leaders, industry pioneers, and India’s most dynamic innovators to chart a decisive course for a developed India.
As India’s flagship S&T conclave under the theme Imagine, Innovate, inspire for Viksit Bharat 2047, ESTIC 2025 will unite the country’s innovation ecosystem across the entire gamut of the scientific spectrum. Curtain raiser programmes by participating Ministries and Departments are building momentum for detailed discussions across the 11 thematic sessions spanning Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, Blue Economy, Digital Communications, Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging Agricultural Technologies, Energy–Environment–Climate, Health & Medical Technologies, Quantum Science & Technology, and Space Technologies.
The conclave is a collaborative initiative of the Department of Science & Technology, under the guidance of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, and brings together an association of key ministries and departments including the Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Ayush, Department of Biotechnology, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Space, and Department of Telecommunications.
