Apr, 24: After a theatrical run that sparked widespread conversation, The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond is set to premiere on Hindi ZEE5 on 8th May. With its digital release, the film aims to reach a wider audience, bringing its hard-hitting and emotionally driven narrative into homes across the country.
Moving beyond its predecessor, The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond shifts its lens to the personal journeys of three young women from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala. While their lives may seem unconnected, they are bound by a shared experience where it begins with trust and love but gradually unfolds into manipulation and loss of agency.
At its core, the film is a stark and unsettling reminder of how emotional vulnerability can be exploited. It sheds light on how easily trust can be misused, turning relationships into spaces of control rather than freedom. Through these deeply personal stories, the film positions itself as an eye-opening narrative that underscores that such experiences could happen to any daughter, in any household.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film stars Aditi Bhatia, Ulka Gupta, and Aishwarya Ojha, who bring nuance and emotional depth to their roles. Aashin A. Shah and Ravichand Nallappa serve as co-producers, with Amarnath Jha and Vipul Amrutlal Shah co-writing the film.
