Bihar to Build 100 Modern Bus Stands to Boost Road Transport: CM Samrat Choudhary

Jamui, August 17: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has announced plans to construct 100 modern bus stands across the state, equipped with upgraded passenger amenities to improve public transport connectivity and strengthen urban infrastructure.

Addressing a gathering in Jamui, the Chief Minister said the proposed bus stands would be developed with modern facilities aimed at making road travel more convenient and efficient for passengers.

The initiative is expected to strengthen connectivity between urban centres and smaller towns while improving the infrastructure supporting Bihar’s public transport network.

The proposed facilities are likely to include essential passenger amenities and improved arrangements for the operation and movement of buses.
