Responding to growing public interest during the festive season, Kalinga Studios Limited has opened its premises for both visitors and film-shooting activities. The studio was formally opened to the public on October 20, following its modernisation.

The new attractions and ticketing arrangements are expected to draw families, children and entertainment enthusiasts looking for recreational activities in and around the Odisha capital.

Ticket Prices for Major Attractions

The studio authorities have fixed separate entry charges for the individual attractions, in addition to the mandatory general admission ticket.

The ticket prices are as follows:

General studio entry: Rs 20 per person

Snow Park: Rs 150 per person

3D Movie Magic: Rs 100 per person

Adventure Land Ghost Bungalow: Rs 25 per person

Visitors wishing to experience all three attractions will have to pay Rs 275 for the individual attraction tickets. Including the mandatory Rs 20 general admission charge, the total cost for a complete visit covering all three attractions will be Rs 295 per person.

Tickets for the attractions must be purchased separately, according to the arrangements announced by the authorities.

Kalinga Studio Visit Timings and Slots

To manage visitor movement and ensure smooth access to the attractions, the studio has introduced a scheduled entry system with two visiting sessions each day.

The timings are:

Morning session: 10 am to 1:30 pm

Afternoon session: 2 pm to 5:30 pm

Each session is divided into seven slots, taking the total to 14 slots across the two sessions. Every slot lasts 25 minutes.

Visitors planning to experience the Snow Park must adhere to their designated slot timings, as the attraction will operate according to the scheduled entry system.

The authorities have also clarified that tickets will neither be refunded nor rescheduled. Visitors are therefore advised to check their allotted timings carefully before making their bookings.

Modernised Facility for Odisha’s Film Industry

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the upgraded Kalinga Studio earlier this month. The modernisation initiative aims to bring the facility in line with the changing needs of the Odia film industry while expanding its appeal as an entertainment destination.

The reopening marks a renewed phase for the studio, which has traditionally played an important role in Odisha’s film and television production.

By opening its upgraded premises to the public alongside shooting activities, the management is seeking to make the facility accessible to a wider audience.

With affordable general admission and multiple paid attractions, the revamped studio offers visitors a new recreational option in Bhubaneswar. Those planning a visit should take note of the separate attraction charges, fixed time slots and non-refundable ticket policy before entering the premises.
