A recent video featuring Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta tearfully claiming harassment in her own home has garnered significant attention on social media. However, fellow actress Rozlyn Khan AKA Rehana Khan has swiftly reacted, hinting that Dutta’s emotional appeal is a calculated *PR stunt*, possibly aimed at securing a spot on the popular reality show Bigg Boss.
Rozlyn Khan took to her Instagram stories to share her skepticism. Reposting Dutta’s video, Khan sarcastically wrote, “Magarmach ke ansoo…! Ye lo aa gai #metoo wali.,! Madam apni PR team se bolo oshiwara senior officer is very good, he will get your problem solved (sic).” She further elaborated, “infact tum khud roz police station mein bathi rehti ho… by the way we all will pray for you and khushi Mukerji both of the same pr company should get big boss this year Ameen (sic).”
Khan also expressed frustration with media coverage, stating, “Ye media in log ko bann karo urfi hi thik thi yaar (sic).”
In her viral video, Tanushree Dutta, visibly distressed, stated, “Guys I am being harassed in my own home. Mujhe mere he ghar mein pareshaan kiya ja raha hai. I just called the cops, and they have asked me to visit a police station and lodge a proper complaint. I will probably go tomorrow and do that, I am not keeping well.”
She added that the alleged harassment has been ongoing for years, impacting her health and daily life. “Mujhe itna pareshaan kiya gaya hai pichle 4-5 saalo me ki meri tabiyet kharab ho gayi hai. I am not able to do anything; my house is a mess.”
While Dutta did not name her alleged harassers, her video’s caption linked the ongoing issue to the #MeToo movement: “I’m sick and tired of this harassment!! It’s been going on since 2018 #metoo Aaj fed up hokar maine police ko call kiya Please someone help me! Do something before it’s too late.”
Despite Rozlyn Khan’s allusions, there have been no official reports confirming Tanushree Dutta’s participation in Bigg Boss 19. However, it’s worth noting that Dutta has reportedly been considered for previous seasons of the show.
