16th July 2024- Shraddha Kapoor is set to return with the highly anticipated sequel to Stree, the film that marked the beginning of Maddock’s Supernatural Universe. The actress, who played the lead role in the original film, has unveiled a new poster for the upcoming horror-comedy.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Shraddha shared an intriguing poster that has fans buzzing with excitement. The image depicts a mysterious lady in black, seen from behind, holding her long ponytail, which is generating thunderbolts. Above her stands a tall, unidentified figure shrouded in a black cape, set against the eerie backdrop of an old haunted fortress.
Accompanying the poster, Shraddha revealed that the Stree 2 trailer will be released in two days, with the film hitting theatres on August 15, 2024, coinciding with Independence Day. This release date sets up a box office clash with two other major films, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa.
Stree 2 has been one of Shraddha Kapoor’s most-awaited projects this year. The teaser for the film was previously released during the Munja screening, further heightening anticipation among fans.
