7th November/2025, Gurugram: The Gurugram Festival 2025 will commence with a grand opening ceremony on November 8th 2025, at the Apparel House Epicentre, Gurugram.And will honour legendary maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain & Pr Rajan Mishra Ji through a series of live performances. The festival aims to celebrate India’s timeless musical heritage, bringing together renowned artists, cultural enthusiasts and music lovers from across the nation.
The festival’s opening day, November 8th, will begin with a Homage to Ustad Zakir Hussain, featuring Tabla Virtuoso Ojas Adhya accompanied by Siddesh Bicholkar. The evening will continue with an enchanting flute recital by Padmashree Pt. Ronu Majumder, joined by Rohen Bose on tabla and Haridutt Bharadwaj on flute.
On November 9th, the festival will pay homage to Pt. Rajan Mishra, The performances will include Odissi by Vidushi Sujata Mahapatra, a vocal recital by Vidushi Sudha Raghuraman with a team of accomplished accompanists, and a concluding vocal duet by Padma Bhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra and Swaransh Mishra, supported by Pt. Vinod Lele (tabla) and Pt. Vinay Mishra (harmonium).
