National, 2nd September 2025: PVR INOX, India’s largest cinema chain, is opening September with an eclectic mix of films that promise to draw audiences of every taste back to the big screen. From franchise-driven spectacles and emotionally charged dramas to experimental formats and global horror phenomena, the first week of the month marks a powerful start to the festive season for cinema lovers.
The Hindi action entertainer Baaghi 4 leads the charge with Tiger Shroff returning to his most popular franchise, supported by Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, and Sanjay Dutt in a menacing turn. Adding to the action lineup is Madharasi, a Tamil thriller directed by A.R. Murugadoss and headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, with Rukmini Vasanth and Vidyut Jammwal adding star power to a story rooted in grit and drama. Closing out the lineup is The Bengal Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
