June 18, 2024 –
In an exciting update for fans, Allu Arjun has officially announced that the highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has been delayed and now has a new release date. On Monday evening, the star took to his X handle to share a striking new poster of the film.

The poster features Allu Arjun in his iconic role as Pushpa Raj, donning a grey t-shirt layered with a brown shirt and a matching bandana. In the image, he holds a sword menacingly on his shoulder, staring intensely into the camera. The caption read, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024.”

The sequel to the blockbuster hit Pushpa: The Rise will see Allu Arjun reprising his role alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. Initially slated for an August 15, 2024 release, the new date helps avoid a box office clash with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa.

The film’s team also released a statement to explain the rescheduling. “Due to the remaining shoot and subsequent post-production work, we will not be releasing the film on August 15th, 2024. This decision is made in the best interests of the film,” the statement read.

Fans can now look forward to experiencing the next chapter of Pushpa Raj’s saga in theatres on December 6, 2024.
