50 Recycled Cycles’ will be donated to Children from an Orphanage, a Govt School and an NGO

Hyderabad, October 14, 2024- It is a common sight to notice a lot of discarded/unused Cycles left in the parking place as kids have outgrown them. They end up occupying so much valuable parking space. So residents/owners can give The Old Cycle a Fresh Lease of Life through the “Cycle/Recycle “ initiative of “Lodge Keys No 297”.

Why can’t we make use of abandoned bicycles for the convenience of underprivileged kids, whose families can’t afford to buy them new bicycles?

Abandoned bicycles which would die rusting can be reborn as new ones said Radheyshyam Tiwari of Lodge Keys No 297. We will give them a fresh lease of life. Discarded bikes get a second chance at life and also help the young kids get a chance to adopt a healthy practice of bicycling.

Lodge Keys, a primary unit of Freemasonry will donate 50 such refurbished, retrofitted, and repurposed bikes to poor children

Public with such abandoned kid bicycles may please donate at Goshamahal Baradari Masonic Building, where they will be retrofitted and kept ready for donation.

A function will be held at Goshamahal Baradari Masonic Building for the distribution of the same on November 6, 2024

Recycling is the buzzword of today. Bicycle recycling must happen in every city. Don’t Throw Your Old Bicycle in the Trash, Donate it for Recycling Radheyshyam requests the public.

The mission of Cycle Recycle, according to Lodge Keys is to make affordable, good-quality used bicycles available to low-income people in developing areas. These donated bicycles provide better transport for work, and education and also ensure fitness and keep them healthy. They are environmentally friendly.

A lot of cycles are languishing unused and rusty in thousands of homes and apartments. If repaired well, they could be used again. Otherwise, they end up in a scrap yard. It makes good civic sense to recycle them, adds Radheyshyam.
