FUJIFILM India Shares Inspiring Story of Endobus Initiative in Trichurapalli with New Brand Film

7th December 2024: FUJIFILM India – a leader in healthcare technology proudly unveils its latest brand film, a heartfelt narrative that underscores the critical role of accessible healthcare in underserved regions. In line with its Group purpose of “Giving our world more smiles” FUJIFILM India brings its first testimonial under Stories of More Smiles series called “Hero with an Endoscope.”

Conceptualised by FUJIFILM India brand teamthe ad film is written and directed by Ranvir Kumar Suman and produced by Seaface films. The film is set in picturesque city of Tiruchirappalli and Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu. Shot with a crew of over 60 people, across 12 locations in 2 days, the ad film was shot on Fujifilm Fujinon Premista Cine lenses and involved a massive effort of having over 70 people featured in the ad film.

“Hero with an Endoscope” is a true story of Dr. Govindraj and the film celebrates the philanthropic initiative of Endobus, initiated by K Shantha Foundation. The Endobus was launched in December 2023 equipped with Fujifilm CAD EYE™ and advanced endoscopic systems, the cutting-edge technology empower doctors to detect gastrointestinal disease. The film is a true story of Gopal, a patient who was detected during one of the Endobus healthcare camps. Through early detection and timely intervention, Gopal’s life was transformed. Today, Gopal, along with his family, stands as a testament to the power of accessible healthcare and early intervention. The film also honours the dedication of doctors and healthcare workers, acknowledging their tireless efforts to provide care in challenging environments. It rightfully refers to them as the ‘cradle of society’ who are on a mission to make lives better. The film closes with a beautiful thought – ‘If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.’
