Grace Cancer Foundation Celebrates 11 Years of Empowering Cancer Patients

Hyderabad, December 18, 2024- Global Research and Cancer Education Cancer Foundation widely known as Grace Cancer Foundation celebrated 11 years of service to humanity.

In a press note issued in the city today, Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli, Senior Consultant Robotic Surgical Oncologist and the founder of GRACE Cancer Foundation said Cancer is not a death sentence, but it is a conquerable challenge.

“As we step into our 12th year, we aim to reach one lakh lives through free mobile screening for Non-Communicable Diseases. Our goal is to bring quality cancer screening and treatment to the doorsteps of rural communities, transforming countless lives”, he said.

Speaking further he added that GCF was started with a noble mission to alleviate the burden of Cancer. Grace Cancer Foundation was established to offer CURE, CARE, & COMPASSION for the needy. Today this mission has evolved into a holistic campaign that strives to create freedom from cancer through education, early detection, timely treatment, rehabilitation, and cutting-edge research. Over the past 11 years, it has touched the lives of 1.4 crore individuals across 130 countries. This year alone, it has reached over 61,000 people through mobile cancer screening campaigns.

We have recently celebrated our 11th anniversary and the Honourable Governor of Telangana Shri Jishnu Dev Varma graced the celebrations. He also unveiled the 11th Annual Report of the Grace Cancer Foundation.

GCF objectives are, Dr Chinnababu said is to raise awareness and promote healthy living, support access to care and build collective commitment to fight cancer.

Some of its initiatives include Tribal Cancer Screening Programs in Odisha and Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh; Cancer Screening Initiative for Anganwadi Teachers (AWT) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) in Telangana State; Protecting Those Who Protect Us: Cancer Screening for Cyberabad Police Personnel; HPV Vaccination Drive in schools and colleges; HPV Screening for cervical cancer; GCF Internship Program for UG Students from abroad; Global Grace Cancer Run 2024: A Worldwide Movement Against Cancer; Collaborations and Research and Innovation
