May 19, 2025 | Manali, Himachal Pradesh In the heart of Himachal’s mountains, where the Beas River runs calmly through ancient pine forests and the air itself feels meditative, Vishwa Jagriti Mission recently concluded its deeply spiritual and nationally meaningful retreat, a 15-day Ardh-Chandrayan Tap Sadhana along with multiple 5-day meditation camps. It was held at the now well-known Sadhana Dham Ashram in Manali, and culminated into a powerful Tiranga Yatra (Flag March), honoring the valor of India’s armed forces and igniting a deep sense of national pride among all present.
Led by Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj and Dr. Archika Didi, the retreat brought together seekers from across India and abroad. People came together not just to meditate but to reconnect with their higher purpose and realign with deeper truths. One of the most powerful moments was the Tiranga Yatra, a stirring march held in honor of India’s armed forces. It blended silence with strength, devotion with patriotism, and created a wave of emotion that moved every heart present. The Yatra carried the weight of recent wounds, especially in light of Operation Sindoor that was launched in response to the devastating terror attack in Pahalgam.
“Meditation is not just about closing your eyes. It’s about opening your soul. To calm the mind, to dissolve emotions, and to transcend thought is true dhyan. And in that stillness, one reconnects with the Supreme. In this sacred land of Manali, I invite all to forget their pain, rise above fear, and align with their true self. ” said Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj. “The Tiranga Yatra was not just a tribute to our brave soldiers. In the wake of Operation Sindoor and the loss in Pahalgam, it reminded us that patriotism begins within — with discipline, sacrifice, and courage. When the soul is aligned, the nation is stronger. That is the true meaning of Sanatan spirit,” he added.
The retreat was honored by the presence of former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and current Leader of Opposition, Hon. Jai ram Thakur, along with his wife Sadhana Thakur.
Joining them was former minister and BJP State Vice President Hon. Govind Thakur, Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali, and several senior BJP dignitaries. These respected dignitaries met with Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, received his blessings, and took part in the spiritual experience with visible humility and deep reverence. Dr. Archika Didi, Vice
Chairperson of Vishwa Jagriti Mission, also welcomed the guests and shared insights on the deeper purpose of the retreat.
“In today’s turbulent times, it is essential for all of us to come together and strengthen the foundation of Sanatan Dharma. I have witnessed Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, dedicate every moment of his life to the service of culture and nation. That kind of altruist spirit is truly humongous and inspiring,” said Hon. Jai ram Thakur, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, during his visit.
Participants engaged in profound practices such as Nitya Sadhana, Divine Bliss Meditation, Divya Shakti Sadhana, Walking Meditation, and the rigorous Ardh-Chandrayan Tap Sadhana, known for its intense physical, mental, and spiritual purification. Devotees also experienced special sessions, including Yog Nidra, Peace Meditation, and Shiva Meditation, under the guidance of Dr. Archika Didi. This rare and disciplined path provided a sacred environment for seekers to detach from external chaos and reconnect with their divine essence.
Every year, this retreat becomes more than just a spiritual event, it becomes a movement. A movement rooted in Sanatan culture, carried forward by selfless service, and powered by a collective longing to live better, deeper, and more connected lives. As the echoes of chants fade and the seekers return to their daily worlds, the message remains clear; this mission is alive, and the journey continues.
