On the auspicious occasion of the 178th Sadguru Sri Thyagaraja Aradhana, a mega event celebrating the divine legacy of Sri Thyagaraja Swamy, the SSTAKT invites devotees, music enthusiasts and musicians to pay homage to Sadguru Sri Thyagaraja Swamy. The event will be held at Sri Sringeri Shankara Math, Chamarajapete, Bengaluru.
Inauguration of the Thyagarja Aradhana by His Holiness Jagadguru Ananthasrivibhooshitha Vidhushekhara Bharathi Sri Sannidhanam, Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
The event will feature a Pancharatna Kruthi Goshti Gayana (group singing of the Pancharatna Krithis) by over 1000 renowned classical musicians, commencing at 8:00 am. This spiritually enriching performance will be conducted in the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Ananthasrivibhooshitha Vidhushekhara Bharathi Sri Sannidhanam, Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
The Pancharatna Kruthi Goshti Gayana will set the tone for a day filled with divine melodies and heartfelt devotion. Following this, there will be a series of vocal and instrumental music performances by distinguished artists, making this a truly memorable cultural and spiritual event.
Sri D. K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka and Dr. K. Sudhakar, Member of Parliament, Government of India will be the Guests of Honour All the programmes are conducted under the guidance of Rajaguru Sri. B.S. Dwarakanath guruji.
The programme schedule is as follows: From 6:00 am onwards, there will be a Nagaswara Mangala Vaadya performance by 50 reputed Nagaswaram artists from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, performing Unchha Vrutti (Nagara Sankeertane). At 8:00 am, the commencement of Pancharatna Kruthi Goshti Gayana by over 1000 classical musicians will take place in the presence of His Holiness. At 10:00 am, Vaidika Aradhana will be conducted, followed by vocal performances by Vid. R.N. Thyagarajan & Group from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and by Vid. Nagamani Srinath & Group from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. In the evening, at 5:00 pm, Vid. Suma Sudhindra, Vid. H.K. Venkataram, Vid. H.S. Venugopal & Group will perform a Veena-Violin-Venu Ensemble. At 6:00 pm, Vid. S. Shankar’s Shankarabharanam Group will present a vocal performance, followed by Vid. Suchethan Rangaswamy & Group at 7:00 pm and Vid. Srikantham Nagendra Shastry & Group at 8:00 pm.We invite all devotees and music lovers to join us for this spiritually fulfilling and musically enriching day.
