New Delhi, Sep 08: A wedding day is a very big day for a bride and groom. Gargee Designers, an Indian menswear label with an inheritance of tailoring & craftsmanship, has launched its latest wedding collection, ‘The Match Point.’ The garments are crafted for the modern groom. The collection merges traditional Indian culture with modern styling while taking inspiration from the energy, anticipation, and milestones of a badminton match.

With this launch, the Gargee designers represent a fresh perspective on wedding dressing, looking beyond a single wedding-day outfit to celebrate the many occasions and moments that make the groom’s journey even more special. From first serve to the final match point, the collection reflects the excitement and emotions that build towards a new beginning.
The Match Point collection sees a wedding as a series of special moments, from traditional rituals to grand evening receptions. It keeps the different levels of an Indian wedding in mind; Gargee Designers has designed a wide range of wedding outfits, including sherwanis, kurtas & tuxedos, which are designed for modern grooms. The collections carry comfort, versatility & uniqueness, which mix classic Indian workmanship with trendy fashion.
Speaking about the launch, Ravi Gupta, Creative Designer and Director of Gargee Designers, said,
“A wedding is a very special and very personal journey filled with many moments and emotions not only for a bride but also for the groom. It is much like a badminton match that builds towards the match point. With Gargee Designer’s new launch, “The Match Point,” we want to shift the feeling of expectations, positive vibes, and celebrating menswear. We focus on making a collection that allows grooms to dress confidently for every occasion while staying connected to the workmanship and the tailoring that give credibility to Gargee Designers. This new launch and collection is our way of celebrating not just the end moments, but every single step that leads to a special day.”
The set of sherwanis comes with stitched work and textured fabric designs in a vast range of shades, which includes ivory, champagne, ice blue, classic gold, and more. On the other hand, the kurta collection adds variation like printed, embroidered, textured, and mirror-work styles; the tuxedos bring a sharper and more modern look for every occasion. The collection starts at ₹20,000 for kurtas & bandi sets up to 60,000. Sherwanis’ starting price is 50,000 and goes up to ₹2 lakhs.
The match point motivates today’s grooms to try different styles, colors, and patterns on their wedding day while keeping it graceful and stylish. Now grooms can create a completely new wedding closet that reflects different moods and occasions. Because of the Gargee Designer’s new launch, men will not complain that only brides have multiple options to wear at their weddings.
