Week 3 of The Traitors Season 2 gave the Innocents one of their biggest victories yet, and then ripped it straight out of their hands. Shahneel Gill became the third Traitor to be exposed, but just when the palace appeared to be closing in on Krystle D’Souza, she pulled off her most dangerous move yet: recruiting relentless Traitor hunter Rida Tharana to the other side. Add Shweta Tiwari’s brutal murder, Rhea Chakraborty’s furious “How dare you?” exit, and tasks involving Destiny Cards, curses, coffins, fire and blindfolded eliminations, and Week 3 left nobody feeling safe.
Shweta’s murder hit the palace hard, with Shalini and Mallika left devastated by the loss of their Trimurti member. Recalling how fiercely the palace had defended her the previous day. Shweta said, “I knew it! I knew it! Mujhe pata tha woh mera murder kar denge kyuki kal jis tarah sab lad rahe the mere liye ki yeh traitor nahi hai, yeh traitor nahi hai, yeh traitor nahi hai… mujhe pata tha main murder ho jayungi”
The Circle of Shaq brought another blow as Rhea Chakraborty found herself in the firing line. The moment brought back bad memories for her, who called the experience déjà vu. Rhea said, “I had a great time with all of you, aap log mere family away from family ban gaye, but I really love all of you, and I am sorry agar circle of shaq mai ek dusre pe finger uthaya. Krystle, Sahil, Mallika ji, but it’s just a game, and I hope that we can all be friends outside the game. This felt like deja vu. Roses are red, violets are blue, I am in my chapter two. How dare you? I am an innocent. Always have been, always will be. Thank you!”
Tanya’s questioning put Shahneel Gill under pressure, and her inability to perform under pressure and convincingly explain the letter the Innocents receive every morning eventually gave the palace enough reason to turn against her. Even Shalini’s Destiny Card could not save her. Shahneel said, “Guys mujhe bohot maza aaya, aap sabke sath time bitake, baatein karke, I didn’t know ki main itni khoobsurat friendships apne sath wapis leke jayungi, and I am very happy that I got to be part of such a beautiful game, and I love you guys! Guys, main sabse innocent traitor hoon!”
Shahneel’s exit marks the third consecutive week in which the Innocents have managed to eliminate a Traitor, following Harman Singha and Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu). But their winning streak comes with a devastating catch. With Krystle D’Souza now the only remaining Traitor, she must recruit someone to join her and chooses the one person the palace least expected: Rida Tharana, one of the palace’s most relentless Traitor hunters, accepted the offer and switched sides. She wasted no time embracing her new role, joining Krystle in murdering Tanya before facing a secret task involving curses, coffins and firethat left the entire palace shaken. The Innocents made the wrong call, and Ikka became the latest casualty of the game.
Prish becomes the next target of the Traitors, his suspicions point in every direction except towards the one person Prish believes is definitely innocent: Rida. Prish said, “Koi bhi traitor ho sakta hai, iss time pe merko Dalip sir bhi lagte hai, Ansh bhi, merko Rida ke alawa sab traitor lagte hai, kyuki Rida is the only person who had the shield, so wahi ek person hai jo 100% innocent hai abhi tak”
The week’s final task turned into another test of nerve, with blindfolds, moving boxes and the power to eliminate another player keeping everyone on edge. Ansh, still shaken after the previous mission, chose not to participate, and his journey eventually ended at the Circle of Shaq. Ansh said, “Thank you so much guys, merko bohot acha laga yeha pe aake… yeh show mere life ka best show hai, matlab merko ek chance mila, aap log ke sath khela, aap log bohot ache log ho sab, aur mujhe bohot maza aaya. Main day one se innocent tha, hoon aur rahunga!”
And with Krystle now determined to make the final murder “iconic”, the palace is left with one last question before the finale: who will the traitors choose as their final victim?
