Mumbai, 13th August 2026: As the nation celebrates the spirit of Independence Day, Sony MAX reaffirms its commitment to harnessing the power of storytelling to inspire meaningful social change, reminding audiences that true freedom also means ensuring every child can live without fear in a safe and secure world. Ahead of the World Television Premiere of Mardaani 3 on 16th August at 8:00 PM, the channel has launched a child safety awareness campaign across Mumbai’s railway stations. Featuring specially created public safety announcements voiced by Rani Mukerji as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, the initiative aims to encourage greater public vigilance and reinforce that protecting children is a shared responsibility.
Launched in collaboration with Mumbai Railways, the campaign is being rolled out at key railway stations, including Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), one of Mumbai’s busiest transit hubs. The specially curated announcements urge commuters to remain alert, keep a close watch on children during their journey, and immediately inform the authorities if they notice a child who appears lost, distressed or vulnerable.
Bringing Shivani Shivaji Roy’s powerful voice beyond the screen, the campaign transforms an everyday public space into a platform for awareness, reminding millions of commuters that timely action and collective vigilance can play a crucial role in protecting children. The initiative extends the spirit of Mardaani 3, reinforcing its central message of standing united against crimes against children.
Sony MAX Spokesperson:
“At Sony MAX, we believe the most powerful stories are the ones that inspire action. With Mardaani 3, we wanted to take the film’s message beyond the screen and bring it to a space where awareness can make a real difference. Mumbai’s railway network connects millions of people every day, making it a powerful platform to encourage collective vigilance. Through this initiative, we hope to remind commuters that a moment of attentiveness can help protect a child in need. If this campaign encourages even one person to notice a child in distress and alert the authorities, it will have served its purpose.”
The railway station initiative reflects the central theme of Mardaani 3, which shines a light on crimes against children and the importance of courage, vigilance and timely intervention. Headlined by Rani Mukerji, the film marks the return of Shivani Shivaji Roy, one of Indian cinema’s most fearless police officers, as she investigates the disappearance of young girls and uncovers a ruthless trafficking network. A gripping thriller with a powerful social message, Mardaani 3 is a story of resilience, justice and the relentless fight to protect the innocent.
Don’t miss the World Television Premiere of Mardaani 3 on Sony MAX on 16th August at 8:00 PM.
