New Delhi,  May 18 : Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR welcomes Golden Dragon, one of IHCL’s most recognised names in Chinese dining. First introduced in 1973 at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, Golden Dragon is known for bringing celebrated Sichuan and Cantonese flavours to generations of diners. Led by Executive Chef Anuj Mathur alongside Chef Tong Sing Wah from Hong Kong, the kitchen brings together trusted recipes, time-honoured techniques and a deep respect for Chinese culinary heritage. Rooted in Golden Dragon’s signature style, the menu stays true to authentic Chinese cooking while being thoughtfully adapted for contemporary diners.

A thoughtfully curated selection of dim sum, wok-tossed preparations, aromatic soups, signature mains, desserts and an elegant tea programme forms the heart of the dining experience. Signature highlights include Mushroom Cream Cheese Dumpling, Flaky Radish Dumpling, Water-Poached Chicken Dumplings with Spicy Garlic Sauce, Beijing Onion Cake, Golden Fried Prawns, Song of the Dragon Chicken, Sichuan Chilli Baby Corn, Crunchy Water Chestnut with Roasted Macadamia Chilli Sauce, Spicy Lemon Coriander Soup, Beijing Duck, Steamed Sea Bass with Ginger, Mala Tofu, Broccoli, Pak-choi and Asparagus with Five Spice Honey, and the much-loved Famous Three Flavour Noodles. Desserts such as Mango Pudding and Darsaan complete the experience  comforting, balanced and deeply satisfying.

The interiors draw inspiration from classical Oriental design, layered with contemporary restraint, subtle gold and green accents and delicate plum blossom motifs. The space is further enriched by Guohua, the revered Chinese art form that integrates painting, poetry, calligraphy and seal engraving. Works such as Renwu Hua, Shanshui Along the River, The Lantern Bearer’s Mountain Journey, Shadows of the Golden Dragon and Path to Longevity, among others, add cultural depth to the dining experience. The private dining rooms offer an elegant setting for intimate celebrations and special occasions.
