Having grabbed eyeballs with Paatal Lok, Lakshvir Singh isn’t playing it safe, and Lukkhe is proof. Known for diving headfirst into roles that demand both emotional grit and physical intensity, Lakshvir is back, sharper and more unfiltered than ever. In Lukkhe, he transforms into Lucky, a character simmering with ambition, bruised by vulnerability, and driven by a quiet, dangerous resilience. Set in a world where loyalty is fragile, love is complicated, and survival comes at a cost, Lucky doesn’t just exist; he erupts. And Lakshvir didn’t just “play” Lucky, he lived him. From locking into the character’s psyche to committing to a relentless physical and emotional prep, the actor went all in, blurring the lines between performance and reality. Because in Lukkhe, nothing is surface-level, and neither is Lakshvir Singh.
Reflecting on the intense prep that shaped his performance, he shared, “I had never played hockey in my life- I didn’t even know the basics. What started as ‘maybe 3 practice sessions’ somehow turned into 40! And ironically, I don’t even have that much hockey screen time in the show. I genuinely fell in love with the sport. It completely broke me at one point-body pain, exhaustion, the whole deal but I was determined to get it right for the shoot. Because for me, the mindset of a hockey player is so central to who Lucky is. That grit, that discipline- that’s the character.”
